You Already Have an Answer. Somatic Coaching Helps You Hear It — and Know What to Do Next.
Somatic Life Coaching
Coaching for high-functioning women who feel stuck, foggy, and disconnected in life, career, or themselves. Bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be — reconnect with your inner voice, understand what you’re feeling, tap into what you already know, and regain direction.
What Part of Your Life Have You Outgrown?
You show up, get things done, take care of everyone. And still — the life you've built no longer fits the person you've become.
Maybe you've:
Learned to push through your body's signals to keep functioning
Made "the right" decisions but don’t feel settled in them
Sat in therapy or read every self-help book and still feel like something's not landing
You've lost touch with what you actually want
Learn to Hear Yourself Again
Somatic life coaching closes the gap between thinking and feeling. Your mind processes the world through thought, while your body holds a different kind of knowing — the felt sense of your experience. This work brings the two together.
We're working toward real goals — for your career, your relationships, your life. But we don't get there through lists and tasks alone. We slow down to notice how things actually feel: how a decision sits in your body, what you feel guided toward. We work with that felt experience directly, sometimes reframing it, until it becomes real data. From there, we set goals and make decisions that rebuild your life around what's authentically yours.
Why It Works for High-Achieving Women
Quiets the overthinking loop — get to what's actually true, not just what's loud
Finds the real issue underneath the noise when everything feels urgent
Releases what you're holding — tension in the body finally gets acknowledged
Builds decisions you trust — not ones that just look right, ones that feel right
Ways to Work Together
Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly via video call. We'll work together to define clear, measurable goals, using your body's subtle signals to uncover what's in your way and unlock real, lasting change. (Somatic coaching isn’t movement-based, though it can involve movement.)

Meet Your Coach
Elizabeth Voetsch has spent 20 years teaching yoga and mindfulness, and the last 10 specializing in somatic awareness — including five years as an adjunct instructor at Sonoma State University in California.
Her approach draws on the humanistic traditions of Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow, the teachings of Zen Buddhism, the foundation of somatic awareness, and Eugene Gendlin's Focusing — all woven into a one-of-a-kind coaching method built around the core belief: you already have the capacity to grow and the agency to change inside of you.
Unlike therapy, which focuses on how the past influences the present, somatic coaching focuses on your life now and the future you're designing. Elizabeth's role as your coach is to support your progress toward your full potential and help you move — often surprisingly quickly — from where you are now to where you want to be.

FAQs
-
No — it's present/future-focused and action-oriented, not a diagnosis or treatment. Works well alongside therapy, not instead of it.
-
No — somatic coaching isn't movement-based. It's actually closer in structure to life coaching: goal-oriented and practical. The difference is how we get there — we bring what you're sensing into the process alongside what you're thinking, instead of relying on strategy alone.
-
Life and career coaches typically work through logic and planning alone. Somatic coaching addresses a very specific pain point: being out of touch with your feelings. We bring in what you're sensing — so what you decide actually feels true, not just smart on paper.
-
That's one of the most common starting points, not a barrier. Somatic work is especially good at surfacing what you want when your mind has gone quiet on the question.
-
Completely normal for high-functioning people who've learned to override their signals — it's a skill that sharpens with practice.
-
It varies. Some clients come for a handful of sessions around a specific decision; others build an ongoing monthly practice. We'll talk through what fits on your discovery call.
-
During a 15-minute conversation, we’ll talk about where you are, what you’re looking for, what somatic coaching involves, and whether it's the right fit before you commit to anything.
