My teaching philosophy is rooted in the awareness that each of us has within us the tools and knowledge needed to self-actualize and thrive, and it is simply a matter of connecting with and listening to our inner teacher.

The Work: Coming Home to Yourself

I work with people who are burned out, overextended, or unsure how they drifted so far from their true selves. I also support those who are doing fine on the surface but feel a quiet pull to reset, reconnect, or go deeper.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), I’ve been teaching yoga, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and practicing Reiki for nearly two decades. My approach is rooted in deep respect for the body and a steadfast belief in each person’s innate wisdom.

Whether in yoga classes or 1:1 Deep Listening sessions, my work is not about fixing or forcing. It’s about learning to listen inward—finding your own rhythm, making empowered choices, and discovering a way forward that feels honest and whole.

A Winding Path to Wholeness

My relationship with embodiment began early. I spent 16 years training to be a classical ballerina, a world that shaped me profoundly, but also taught me to override pain and disconnect from my body’s signals. Later, in the corporate world, I found myself repeating those same patterns—driven, exhausted, and untethered from myself.

My body was in a constant state of stress and exhaustion, and I didn’t have the space, or the clarity, to even imagine a different kind of life. But deep down, I knew one existed. I just needed to stop long enough to find it.

That moment of stopping didn’t come easily or quickly. But over time, I found my way back to myself through yoga, somatic practices, and the quiet, transformative power of deep listening. These practices quite literally gave me my life back, and eventually, they became my life’s work.

I earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University, where I would later return as an Adjunct Teacher in the School of Extended Education. There, I designed and taught a course on Somatic Awareness, guiding students to explore and deepen their capacity to sense, feel, and interpret their internal experiences.

At the Heart of It

In all areas of my work, I create space for people to come home to themselves. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I offer practices, reflections, and tools to help you access your own clarity, your own answers.

Whether through yoga or 1:1 Deep Listening, you’ll be met with validation, nonjudgment, and mindful witnessing. You don’t have to explain or make sense of your experience. You don’t have to be productive, insightful, or on the verge of a breakthrough. And you’re not too much or too late or too far gone.

You’re invited to come as you are—and begin wherever you are.

When you’re in the middle of something hard or uncertain — a transition, a decision, a season you can’t name —
sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Not to fix it. Just to hold space while you find your own clarity, this might be the moment to say yes.

Come As You Are.
