Elizabeth Voetsch divorce recovery coach, somatic awareness teacher, and yoga guide for women after divorce

Meet Your Guide

Elizabeth Voetsch is a somatic awareness coach, yoga teacher, and facilitator who has spent more than a decade helping people reconnect with their inner voice, build self-trust, and create lives that feel more meaningful and like their own. She taught somatic awareness as an adjunct instructor at Sonoma State University for five years, and her work is grounded in nervous system awareness, embodied practice, and the belief that real change begins by learning to listen deeply to yourself.

Alongside 20 years of teaching yoga, private client work, workshops, and retreat leadership, Elizabeth also writes about identity, transition, and personal growth. Her approach is warm, practical, and rooted in helping women come back to themselves and move forward with greater clarity, steadiness, and intention.

  • Elizabeth’s dharma talks always connect with me in a way that is genuinely helpful. No toxic positivity or push to “improve”… Just calm wisdom that helps me relax, find space for myself, and a deeper connection with my life.

    —Sara E.

  • There’s an exceptional quality to learning with someone who has made their practice a life. Elizabeth embodies that. She is fully present, and her natural rhythm carries you through each session in a way that feels intuitive.

    —Cady L.

This is a coaching-based, yoga- and somatic-awareness-informed series, not therapy, mental health treatment, or legal advice.
